Selling the risk management Kool-Aid

Reading Seth Godin’s post about magician, Steve Cohen, made me think about the public’s risk management apathy which is at times frustrating and (please insert some other adjective because all I can come up with is frustrating.)

To the many of you who read my posts and follow my Tweets, I suspect you do so because you already believe in the value of risk management or are interested in the topic to begin with. Effectively, you are already thirsty for my intellectual Kool-Aid so it really isn’t too hard to get you to take a sip of my tasty risk management beverage.

But as Seth writes, “if you’re having trouble persuading people to buy what you sell, perhaps you should sell something else. Failing that, perhaps you could talk about what you sell in a different way.”

Riskczar out.
